About

For more than two decades I’ve worked inside Idaho Republican politics — organizing at the precinct level, chairing the state platform committee, and helping candidates build the campaigns and institutions that let them win and then govern.

My work is the machinery behind a campaign: strategy, targeting, message discipline, and the party-building that turns a single election into lasting strength. Candidates and organizations bring the conviction and the policy; I help them build the structure to carry it.

I’m also a student of where this movement came from. I write The History of the Idaho Republican Right because understanding a party’s platforms, conventions, and factions is the only honest way to know where it can go next. Strategy without that history is mostly guesswork.

My politics are rooted in the Ron Paul tradition: constitutional principles, limited government, a foreign policy of restraint, and strong local communities. I believe the surest path to real change runs through the party’s own institutions, built patiently from the precinct up.

My career started where a lot of unlikely things do — on Jesse Ventura’s 1998 campaign, which taught me that all politics, in the end, is wrestling.
